Target Information
WD40 repeats are structural motifs found in many eukaryotic proteins involved in diverse functions such as signal transduction, cell cycle regulation, RNA splicing, and transcription.
WDR92 (also known as Monad) contains two WD40 repeats and is widely expressed in human tissues, particularly in the testis. Overexpression of WDR92 or its binding partner RPAP3 enhances apoptosis and caspase-3 activation induced by TNF-α and cycloheximide, suggesting a role as a modulator of apoptosis.
