Target Information

Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes:
- E1: Ubiquitin-activating enzymes
- E2: Ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes
- E3: Ubiquitin-protein ligases
UBE2G1 is a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family.
The encoded protein shares 98–100% sequence identity with zebrafish, frog, rat, and mouse counterparts, indicating high conservation across eukaryotes.
