Target Information
DAAM1은 Disheveled 결합 단백질로 처음 연구되었으며, Xenopus에서 planar cell polarity 경로에 중요한 역할을 하는 diaphanous-related formin입니다.
이 단백질은 actin filament의 핵형성과 신장에 관여하며 RhoA에 의해 조절됩니다. DAAM1은 Wnt receptor-associated 단백질인 Disheveled 및 GTP-bound RhoA와 결합하여 세포 내 GTP-bound RhoA의 양을 증가시킵니다.
구조적으로 GTPase-binding domain (GBD), diaphanous inhibitory domain (DID), coiled-coil region, FH1, FH2 및 C-terminal diaphanous auto-regulatory domain (DAD)을 포함합니다.
인간에서 DAAM1 유전자는 염색체 14q23.1에 위치합니다.
