Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Rb is a tumor suppressor nuclear phosphoprotein capable of binding to DNA. It is phosphorylated on serine and threonine residues, but not on tyrosine. It forms complexes with SV40 large T antigen, adenovirus E1A, and human papilloma virus-16 E.
Rb protein regulates transcription, and loss of its function leads to uncontrolled cell growth. Aberrations in the RB gene are linked to cancers of the breast, colon, prostate, kidney, nasopharynx, and leukemia.
