For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3) is a 281 amino acid, Type-1 Th1-specific cell surface glycoprotein expressed on terminally differentiated CD4+Th1 and CD8+Tc1 cells.
TIM3 consists of an IgV-like domain, a mucin-like domain in the extracellular region, and a conserved tyrosine phosphorylation motif in the cytoplasmic region.
It plays a role in macrophage activation and autoimmune disease induction, down-regulates aggressive Th1-mediated immune responses, and contributes to immune tolerance.
TIM3 has been implicated in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), a Th1-dependent autoimmune disease, and enhances disease severity in mice.
