Target Information
WDYHV1는 단백질 분해의 N-end rule 경로에서 중요한 단계인 N-말단 글루타민 잔기의 곁사슬 탈아미드화를 매개합니다. 이 과정은 글루타민을 글루탐산으로 변환시켜 단백질이 아르기닐화, 폴리유비퀴틴화 및 분해에 취약하게 합니다. 내부 또는 C-말단 글루타민에는 작용하지 않으며, 비글루타민 잔기나 아세틸화된 N-말단 글루타민에도 작용하지 않습니다. 두 번째 위치에 프롤린이 존재할 경우 탈아미드화 활성이 거의 소실됩니다.
