Target Information
L-Ficolin (Ficolin-2) is an innate immunity pattern recognition molecule found in human serum.
It binds to pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) such as carbohydrates (GlcNAc), lipoteichoic acid, and acetylated groups, facilitating phagocytosis and activation of complement through the lectin pathway using MASP (MBL-associated serine protease).
