• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.

• For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

The P2X3 receptor belongs to the purinoceptor family for ATP and functions as a ligand-gated ion channel. It may transduce ATP-evoked nociceptor activation. Studies in mice indicate its importance in peripheral pain responses and urinary bladder volume reflex control. Development of selective antagonists for this receptor may have therapeutic potential for pain relief and urinary disorders.
