Antibody detects endogenous levels of PKM2 only when phosphorylated at Tyr105.
Target Information
PKM2 (Pyruvate kinase M2) catalyzes the conversion of phosphoenolpyruvate to pyruvate and ATP. It interacts with thyroid hormone, mediating metabolic effects, and binds Opa protein, a bacterial outer membrane component involved in gonococcal adherence and invasion of human cells. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms have been reported.
