Target Information

Pintumomab is a biosimilar antibody that targets DPEP3, a membrane-bound glycoprotein involved in hydrolytic metabolism of various dipeptides, including penem and carbapenem beta-lactam antibiotics.
The DPEP3 gene is located on chromosome 16, within a cluster of related dipeptidase family members.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
