Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
When using this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba™ Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

The UHRF2 gene encodes a nuclear protein involved in cell-cycle regulation.
This protein functions as a ubiquitin-ligase capable of ubiquitinating PCNP (PEST-containing nuclear protein), potentially contributing to tumorigenesis.
It contains multiple functional domains including:

  • NIRF_N domain
  • PHD finger
  • Set- and ring-associated (SRA) domain
  • RING finger domain

Several of these domains are essential for regulating cell proliferation.
UHRF2 may also play a role in intranuclear degradation of polyglutamine aggregates.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, some of which are non-protein coding.
