Target Information

DYKDDDDK tag, also known as FLAG tag, is a short peptide sequence commonly used to facilitate protein purification, detection, and localization.
It consists of eight amino acids: Asp–Tyr–Lys–Asp–Asp–Asp–Asp–Lys, and can be fused to either the N- or C-terminus of target proteins.
The tag enables easy identification and isolation using anti-FLAG antibodies and is widely applied in molecular biology and biochemistry research, including:

• Protein–protein interaction studies
• Protein expression analysis
• Protein localization studies

The FLAG tag’s hydrophilic nature minimizes protein denaturation or inactivation.
