Product Specific Information
- Antibody tested in direct ELISA (use at 2–4 µg/mL for coating).
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
Terminal Deoxynucleotidyl Transferase (TdT) is a DNA polymerase located in the cell nucleus that catalyzes the polymerization of deoxynucleotides at the 3′ hydroxyl ends of oligo or polydeoxynucleotide initiators and functions without a template.
TdT is considered a highly specific marker for the diagnosis and classification of acute lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukemia.
The determination of TdT expression is valuable for differentiating histologically between lymphoblastic lymphoma and Burkitt’s lymphoma.
