CDC25a는 CDC25 인산가수분해효소 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, 인간 세포에는 CDC25A, CDC25B, CDC25C 세 가지 유전자가 존재합니다.
이들은 세포 주기의 서로 다른 단계에서 작용하며, CDC25a는 G1 및 S기 진행에 필요합니다.
CDC25a는 cyclin-dependent kinase CDC2의 두 개의 인산기를 제거하여 활성화합니다.
