Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double-distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g for 5 min).

Glutamate receptors mediate most excitatory neurotransmission in the brain and play an important role in neural plasticity, development, and neurodegeneration.
Ionotropic glutamate receptors are divided into NMDA and kainate/AMPA receptors, both forming glutamate-gated, cation-specific ion channels.
Kainate/AMPA receptors, composed of seven subunits (GluR1–7), co-localize with NMDA receptors and are primarily responsible for fast excitatory neurotransmission, while NMDA receptors are characterized by slower kinetics and higher Ca²⁺ permeability.
