Target Information
PDPK1 (3-Phosphoinositide Dependent Protein Kinase 1)은 AGC kinase를 인산화하며, conventional PKC 및 PKC zeta를 활성화합니다. 또한, PDPK1은 phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate 존재하에서 Protein Kinase B (PKB)의 threonine 308을 인산화합니다. 활성화된 Akt는 Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 (GSK3)를 불활성화시켜 glycogen synthase를 활성화하고 glycogen 합성을 촉진합니다. 이러한 기능으로 인해 PDPK1은 인슐린 유도 glycogen 합성과 PKC 활성화에 중요한 역할을 하며, 대사성 약물 연구의 잠재적 타깃으로 간주됩니다.
