Target Information
ATP synthase is highly conserved across species including plants, fungi, bacteria, and animals. It is a transmembrane enzyme that catalyzes the reversible conversion of ADP and phosphate to ATP, driven by proton flux across the membrane. The enzyme consists of two main parts:
