Target Information
PKN1 (PRK1)는 protein kinase C superfamily에 속하며, Rho family의 small G proteins에 의해 활성화되어 Rho-dependent signaling pathway를 매개할 수 있습니다. 또한 phospholipids에 의해 활성화될 수 있으며, PDPK1/PDK1에 의해 인산화되어 인슐린 신호를 actin cytoskeleton으로 전달하는 역할을 합니다. Caspase-3 또는 관련 proteases에 의한 절단 활성화는 apoptosis 관련 신호전달에 관여함을 시사합니다. 다양한 isoform을 암호화하는 alternative splicing 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
