Target Information
FOXO 단백질은 선충(Caenorhabditis elegans)부터 포유류까지 보존된 전사 인자 하위군으로, 인슐린 및 인슐린 유사 성장 인자 신호 하위에서 수명 연장의 주요 조절자로 작용합니다.
무척추동물은 하나의 FOXO 유전자를 가지며, 포유류는 FOXO1, FOXO3, FOXO4, FOXO6의 네 가지 유전자를 가집니다.
이 단백질들은 스트레스 저항성, 대사, 세포주기 정지 및 세포사멸 조절 등 다양한 세포 과정에 관여합니다.
