For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MAPK7 (ERK5) is a serine/threonine kinase in the MAP kinase family, involved in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation, and development.
Activated by MAP2K5/MEK5, MAPK7 mediates downstream signaling and translocates to the nucleus to regulate gene expression via phosphorylation of transcription factors.
MAPK7 deletion in mice causes defective blood vessel and cardiac development, leading to embryonic lethality.
ERK5 is critical for endothelial function and vascular integrity, expressed abundantly in heart, placenta, lung, kidney, and skeletal muscle, but not in liver.
