Target Information
FGFR1 (also known as FLT2)는 Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor (FGFR) 패밀리의 구성원으로, 17개의 성장인자(FGF1–17)에 대한 고친화성 수용체 역할을 하는 4개의 막관통 타이로신 키나아제(FGFR1–4) 중 하나입니다.
FGF 수용체 패밀리는 중배엽 유도와 패턴 형성, 세포 성장 및 이동, 기관 형성, 골 성장 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여합니다.
FGFR1은 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 여러 스플라이스 변형체를 생성하며, 이는 배아 발달 및 성체 조직에서 차등적으로 발현됩니다.
FGFR1의 결함은 Pfeiffer syndrome, idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, Kallmann syndrome type 2, osteoglophonic dysplasia, non-syndromic trigonocephaly, Jackson-Weiss syndrome, Antley-Bixler syndrome 등 여러 질환과 관련이 있습니다. 또한, 이 유전자를 포함한 염색체 이상은 조혈모세포 증식성 질환 및 백혈병/림프종 증후군과 연관되어 있습니다.
