Target Information
CD21 (complement receptor 2, CR2, C3D receptor, EBV receptor)는 C3 보체 분해산물과 결합하며, 면역복합체의 흡수 및 유지, 메모리 B세포 생존, T-의존 항원에 대한 체액성 면역반응의 발달 및 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 Epstein-Barr virus의 결합 수용체로 작용하며, 프리온을 여포 수지상세포로 전달하여 신경 침입을 촉진하는 데 관여합니다. 용해형 CD21(sCD21)은 림프구 표면에서 떨어져 나와 리간드 결합 능력을 유지합니다. CD21은 C3d, C3dg, iC3b, EBV, IFNα와 결합하며, CD23과 결합하고 CD19, CD81, Leu13과 복합체를 형성하여 B세포 활성화에 관여합니다. CD21 유전자의 변이는 전신성 홍반성 루푸스(SLEB9) 감수성과 관련이 있습니다. 다양한 스플라이싱 변형으로 여러 동형 단백질을 생성합니다.
