Description:
This Ba13 monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse CD200R3, a surface receptor expressed by basophils and mast cells.

Applications Reported:
This Ba13 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
This Ba13 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of the MC/9 cell line. It may be used at ≤0.25 µg per test.
A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL.
Cell number should be determined empirically (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance.

Target Information

CD200R3 (also known as CD200RLb) is a dimeric cell surface receptor containing two Ig-like extracellular domains, belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily.
Its intracellular region associates with adaptor molecules such as DAP12, DAP10, CD3 zeta, and FcR gamma-chain, enabling stimulatory signal transduction.
CD200R3 shares similarities with activatory receptors CD200R2 and CD200R4, while differing from the inhibitory receptor CD200R1.
It is primarily expressed by basophils and mast cells, which are involved in anti-parasitic immune responses and allergic reactions.
Surface expression of CD200R3 decreases rapidly (within 30 minutes) upon activation via CD16/CD32 ligation.
Unlike CD200R, CD200R3 does not bind CD200.
