Target Information
Cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDEs) regulate intracellular cyclic nucleotide levels by hydrolyzing cAMP and/or cGMP to their corresponding nucleoside monophosphates. Members of the PDE1 family, including PDE1A, are Ca²⁺/calmodulin-dependent enzymes activated in the presence of Ca²⁺ (Michibata et al., 2001).
