Target Information
Syntrophin alpha-1 (Dystrophin, SNTA1)는 근육 섬유의 내부 표면에서 발견되는 큰 막대 모양의 세포골격 단백질입니다. Dystrophin은 Duchenne 근이영양증 환자에서 결손되어 있으며, Becker 근이영양증 환자에서는 감소된 양으로 존재합니다. 이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 dystrophin 및 관련 단백질과 결합된 주변막 단백질입니다. Syntrophin 유전자군에 속하며, 구조적으로 관련된 최소 두 개의 다른 유전자를 포함합니다.
