Target Information
IMPA1 (Myo-inositol monophosphatase 1)는 인지질 합성에 필요한 이노시톨을 공급하는 효소로, 뇌에서 리튬 작용의 약리학적 표적입니다. IMPA1은 호모다이머 형태로 존재하며, phosphatidyl inositol 신호 경로의 주요 효소입니다. 이노시톨 모노포스파타제의 가수분해 억제는 항조증 및 항우울 작용에 관여할 수 있습니다. 연구 결과, IMPA1 유전자 277번 코돈 영역에서는 조증-우울증 환자에서 변이가 관찰되지 않았으며, 비암호화 영역의 다형성이 리튬 반응에 영향을 줄 가능성이 제시되었습니다.
