Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody PD7/26 recognizes CD45RB, an isoform of the Leukocyte Common Antigen (LCA, CD45). CD45RB is a protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor expressed on most hematopoietic cells but absent on non-hematopoietic cells. Expression is more restricted than CD45, found on T cell subsets, B, NK, and myeloid cells. Regulatory T cells (Tregs) express low CD45RB, which may correlate with migration to infection sites, while high expression induces IL-2 and IFN-γ production in vitro.

Target Information
CD45RB is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase and a CD45 glycoprotein isoform. CD45 is essential in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and promoting cell survival via integrin-mediated pathways. CD45 isoforms differ in extracellular domains and expression depending on cell type and physiological state. CD45RB is expressed in microglia and inflammatory cells and is involved in immunoreceptor signaling and apoptosis regulation. CD45 is expressed on all hematopoietic lineage cells except mature red cells.
