TMEM70은 고등 진핵생물에서 ATP 합성효소의 생합성에 관여하는 것으로 알려진 미토콘드리아 단백질입니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 신생아기 근긴장저하, 비대심근증, 젖산혈증 및 3-메틸글루타콘산뇨증(3-MGC-uria)을 유발하며, 대부분 생후 6주 이내 사망하지만 일부 환자는 더 오래 생존합니다. TMEM70은 다세포 진핵생물에서 보존된 DUF1301 도메인과 두 개의 추정 막관통 영역을 포함합니다.
