Product Specific Information
- Western blot에서 재조합 마우스 Dhh(N-terminus; aa 23–198)에 대해 약 50% 교차 반응성을 보이며, rmIhh(N-terminus; aa 66–240), rmDhh(C-terminus; aa 199–396), rmShh(C-terminus; aa 199–437)에는 반응하지 않음.
- 멸균 PBS에 0.5 mg/mL로 재구성 권장.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg (LAL method).
Target Information
Sonic Hedgehog (SHH)는 배아 발생 중에만 발현되며, 초기 배아의 패턴 형성에 중요한 역할을 하는 단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 ventral neural tube, anterior-posterior limb axis, ventral somites의 형성에 관여하는 주요 유도 신호로 알려져 있습니다.
SHH는 전구체 형태로 생성되어 자가 촉매적으로 절단되며, N-말단은 신호 전달 기능을, C-말단은 전구체 처리 및 콜레스테롤 결합에 관여합니다.
이 과정에서 N-말단이 세포 표면에 고정되어 자유 확산이 제한됩니다.
SHH 또는 관련 신호 경로의 결함은 holoprosencephaly(HPE) 및 VACTERL 증후군과 같은 발생 이상을 유발할 수 있습니다.
