For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Heme oxygenase is an essential enzyme in heme catabolism that cleaves heme to form biliverdin, which is subsequently converted to bilirubin by biliverdin reductase. It also produces carbon monoxide, a putative neurotransmitter.
Heme oxygenase activity is induced by its substrate heme and by various non-heme substances. Two isozymes exist: inducible heme oxygenase-1 (HMOX1) and constitutive heme oxygenase-2 (HMOX2).
HMOX1 and HMOX2 belong to the heme oxygenase family. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding three different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
