Target Information
Enterovirus 71 (EV71)은 손발입병(HFMD)을 유발하며 현재 치료제가 없습니다. EV71 바이러스 입자는 약 30 nm 크기의 정이십면체 대칭 구조를 가지며, VP1~VP4의 4가지 단백질 서브유닛으로 구성되어 있습니다. VP1~VP3는 많은 바이러스에서 공통적으로 발견되는 베타-배럴 구조를 형성합니다. EV-A71 2B 단백질은 Bax 단백질 활성화를 조절하여 세포 사멸을 유도하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
