Target Information
Human Replication Factor C (RFC) is a hetero-pentameric protein composed of p140, p40, p38, p37, and p36 subunits. RFC functions in loading the DNA polymerase delta processivity factor (PCNA, Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen) onto a primed DNA template during DNA synthesis and repair. RFC may also participate in the DNA damage checkpoint response with a PCNA-like hetero-trimer consisting of Hus1, Rad1, and Rad9.
