Target Information

ACR (Acrosin)는 성숙한 정자의 아크로솜에 존재하는 주요 단백질분해효소로, 트립신 유사 특이성을 가진 세린 단백질분해효소입니다. 비활성 전구체 형태인 프로아크로신(proacrosin)으로 저장되며, 활성화된 효소는 난자의 zona pellucida를 용해시켜 정자가 난자 내부의 당단백질층을 통과할 수 있도록 돕습니다. 프로아크로신 mRNA는 감수분열 이후의 정자형성 단계에서만 합성되며, 인간의 경우 단상정자세포에서 처음 발현됩니다.
