Target Information
GPR54(KISS1 Receptor)는 galanin 유사 G 단백질 결합 수용체로, KISS1 유전자에서 유래한 펩타이드 metastin과 결합합니다. 이 단백질은 내분비 기능 조절에 관여하며 사춘기 발현에도 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 인간에서는 뇌, 태반, 췌장, 척수 등 다양한 조직에서 발현되며, 종양 조직에서도 높은 수준으로 존재합니다. 랫트에서는 간, 장, 뇌의 여러 부위(pons, midbrain, thalamus, hypothalamus, hippocampus 등)에서 발현됩니다. 정상 태반 및 신장암 라이브러리에서도 EST가 확인되었습니다.
