These Invitrogen Power Blotter Pre-cut Membranes and Filters are designed for efficient protein transfer from mini-size gels using the Power Blotter System. Each pack includes 20 sheets of nitrocellulose and 80 sheets of absorbent blotting paper (0.85 mm thickness). When combined with Power Blotter 1-Step Transfer Buffer, these membranes enable high-efficiency semi-dry transfers in less than 10 minutes.

Features of Nitrocellulose Membranes

• High-quality: 100% pure nitrocellulose with high surface area and excellent uniformity
• High-binding affinity: Excellent protein binding (209 μg/cm²), easy blocking, and low background for chemiluminescent and fluorescent western blotting

The nitrocellulose membrane (0.45 μm pore size) provides high-quality transfers and is compatible with various detection methods such as chemiluminescence, chromogenic, and fluorescence. These pre-cut membrane/filter paper sandwiches fit mini-sized gels.
