For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The human ASH2L gene encodes a 628 amino acid protein (ASH2L1, isoform 1) containing a nuclear localization signal and a PHD finger motif, suggesting a role as a transcription regulator.
Predicted molecular weight: 68.7 kDa.
Alternative splicing may produce isoforms of 60 kDa and 56.5 kDa.

• Human ASH2L shares 60% homology with Drosophila ash2, which regulates gene expression during early development.
• Homology with mouse ASH2L is approximately 90%.
• Expression is predominant in adult heart and testis, and in fetal lung and liver.
• Expression is low in adult lung, liver, kidney, prostate, and peripheral leukocytes.
• In leukemia cell lines (K562, Hel, Dami), ASH2L expression varies with differentiation inducers, suggesting a role in hematopoiesis and leukemia.
• ASH2L may interact with beta-tubulin and beta-catenin.
