본 항체의 면역원은 흰쥐 전장 LAP2 단백질이며, 흰쥐 시료에서도 반응성이 예측됩니다.
Target Information
진핵세포의 핵막은 핵과 세포질을 구분하는 내막과 외막으로 구성되어 있습니다.
이 두 막은 핵공복합체(nuclear pore complex)에 의해 연결되어 있으며, 이를 통해 물질이 핵 안팎으로 이동합니다.
내핵막은 라민(lamin) 단백질로 이루어진 섬유성 구조인 핵라미나(nuclear lamina)에 의해 지지됩니다.
라민은 Lamin Associated Polypeptides (LAPs)라 불리는 막 단백질과 결합하여 내핵막에 부착됩니다.
LAP1A, LAP1B, LAP1C는 높은 서열 상동성을 가지며, LAP2는 이들과 구별됩니다.
LAP1A/B는 lamins A, C, B1과 결합하고, LAP2는 lamin B1만 결합합니다.
또한 LAP2는 염색체에도 결합하며, 유사분열 중 LAP2의 인산화는 lamins 및 염색체 결합을 억제하여 핵막 재조립에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
