Target Information
PRKD2 (PKD2) is a member of the protein kinase D serine/threonine protein kinase family. It participates in signal transduction pathways induced by phorbol esters and the CCK b gastrin receptor. PRKD2 shares strong homology with PKD/PKC and PKCnu in the cysteine-rich motif, pleckstrin homology domain, and kinase domain, but shows low similarity to other PKC family members.
