Adropin은 포도당 항상성과 지질 대사 조절에 관여하는 분비 단백질로, Energy Homeostasis Associated gene (ENHO)에 의해 암호화됩니다. 뇌와 간에서 발현되며, 간에서 고지방 식이 시 증가하고 단식 시 감소합니다. 탄수화물로부터 지질을 생성하는 대사 유전자 활성 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
