Target Information
Mitochondrial complex I는 산화적 인산화의 전자전달 사슬에서 첫 번째이자 가장 큰 효소 복합체로, Krebs cycle에서 생성된 NADH를 산화하여 유비퀴논을 유비퀴놀로 환원시키는 역할을 합니다. 이 복합체는 40개 이상의 서브유닛으로 구성되어 있으며, 그 중 하나인 NDUFS5 (NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] iron-sulfur protein 5)는 106 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로, 촉매 작용에는 관여하지 않는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. NDUFS5는 심장, 골격근, 간, 신장 및 태아 심장에서 상대적으로 높은 발현을 보입니다.
