Target Information
HERC5 (E3 ISG15-protein ligase HERC5)는 ISG15 결합의 주요 E3 ligase로, 인터페론에 의해 유도된 선천적 항바이러스 반응의 양성 조절 인자입니다. HERC5는 ISGylation machinery의 일부로서, 다양한 단백질을 인식하고 ISGylation을 촉매합니다. IRF3의 ISGylation을 통해 지속적인 활성화를 유도하며, IRF3-PIN1 상호작용을 억제하여 IRF3의 유비퀴틴화 및 분해를 방지함으로써 항바이러스 반응을 강화합니다. HERC5는 폴리리보솜과 결합하여 새로 합성되는 단백질을 공동번역적으로 변형시킵니다.
