Target Information
Rab proteins are integral components of endocytic pathways. Rab6A is a ubiquitously expressed member of the Rab family, localizing to the Golgi membrane where it regulates retrograde transport from late endosomes via the Golgi to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER).
Three isoforms exist due to alternative splicing: Rab6A`, Rab6A, and Rab6B (brain-specific).
