They consist of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, and providing consistent results across lots.
Functionally similar to polyclonal antibodies, they recognize multiple epitope sites on the target and offer higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each recombinant Superclonal™ antibody has a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility and eliminating biological variability common in polyclonal production.

Target Information
Histone demethylase that specifically demethylates Lys-9 of histone H3, playing a role in histone code regulation.
Does not demethylate H3 Lys-4, H3 Lys-27, H3 Lys-36, or H4 Lys-20.
Only able to demethylate trimethylated H3 Lys-9, with weaker activity than KDM4A, KDM4C, and KDM4D.
Demethylation generates formaldehyde and succinate.
