For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The ABCC5 gene encodes a protein belonging to the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily.
These proteins transport various molecules across membranes and are categorized into subfamilies such as ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, and White.
ABCC5 is part of the MRP subfamily, associated with multidrug resistance and the export of cyclic nucleotides, contributing to their degradation and elimination.
It has been linked to resistance against thiopurine anticancer drugs (6-mercaptopurine, thioguanine) and the anti-HIV drug 9-(2-phosphonylmethoxyethyl)adenine.
This protein may play a role in thiopurine resistance in acute lymphoblastic leukemia and antiretroviral nucleoside analog resistance in HIV-infected patients.
Alternative splicing has been observed, but the full sequence and translation initiation site remain unclear.
