Target Information
Endothelial cell-specific molecule 1 (ESM1) is a protein encoded by the ESM1 gene in humans.
This secreted protein is primarily expressed in endothelial cells of human lung and kidney tissues.
Its expression is regulated by cytokines, suggesting a role in endothelium-dependent pathological processes.
The transcript includes multiple polyadenylation and mRNA instability signals, and two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
