Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Human thyroglobulin (hTg) is a high molecular weight glycoprotein (605 kDa) found in thyroid follicular cells. It plays a central role in the uptake, incorporation, and regulated biosynthesis of thyroid hormones (T4 and T3).
Anti-thyroglobulin autoantibodies are found in autoimmune thyroid diseases such as Hashimoto thyroiditis and Graves disease, with the highest levels observed in Hashimoto thyroiditis. They are also characteristic of thyroid cancer and useful for monitoring patients.
