PLK4 (Polo-like kinase 4)는 세포 분열 주기 중 중심체 내 중심소체 복제를 조절하는 세린/트레오닌 단백질 키나아제 계열의 단백질입니다. PLK4의 과발현은 중심소체 증식을 유도하며, 반대로 Plk4 유전자 발현 감소는 유사분열 오류 및 암 발생 확률을 증가시킬 수 있습니다.
