Target Information
This antibody binds specifically to cytosolic chaperonin (c-CPN) and transfers target proteins to it. It binds to nascent polypeptide chains and promotes folding in an environment with many competing pathways for nonnative proteins. Additionally, it represses the transcriptional activity of MYC.
