Target Information
Heat shock proteins (HSP) are expressed in response to various biological stresses, including heat. HSP90 is a 90 kDa protein induced under stress conditions and is one of the most abundant cellular proteins under non-stress conditions.
HSP90 interacts with several intracellular proteins such as steroid receptors, actin, tubulin, and kinases. It helps maintain the structural integrity of steroid receptors, allowing ligand binding during receptor activation.
