Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): 항체를 실온에서 30분간 반응시킵니다. 포르말린 고정 조직의 염색 시, 10 mM Tris와 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) 용액에서 95°C에서 45분간 가열 후 실온에서 20분간 냉각하는 과정이 필요합니다.

이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 2개의 EF-hand calcium-binding motif을 포함하는 S100 단백질군에 속합니다. S100 단백질은 다양한 세포의 세포질 및/또는 핵에 존재하며, 세포 주기 진행 및 분화와 같은 여러 세포 과정의 조절에 관여합니다. S100 유전자군은 염색체 1q21에 클러스터 형태로 위치한 최소 13개의 멤버를 포함합니다. 본 단백질은 종양 억제 기능을 가질 수 있으며, 유전자 발현 변화 및 염색체 재배열은 유방암과 연관되어 있습니다.
